NVIDIA Model Optimizer

Fixed nested teacher-only and student-only execution contexts in model distillation.

• Preserved the surrounding execution mode when nested contexts exit, including disabled inner contexts and exceptions.
• Added eight regression cases covering nested and overlapping contexts; all 39 CPU distillation and layerwise tests passed.

Hugging Face Datasets

Merged contribution included in Datasets v4.8.

• Completed fixes across streaming, iterable datasets, and packaged modules.
• Activated upload shard sizing, completed Arrow iteration paths, and fixed archive glob and Pandas feature-casting behavior.
• Added regression coverage for the updated data-loading and streaming paths.

Flash Linear Attention

Two merged pull requests improving cache behavior and hybrid-attention configuration.

• PR #910 fixed windowed cache updates, reset behavior, and legacy-cache restoration, with regression tests.
• PR #1051 added heterogeneous hybrid-attention configurations and centralized validation and per-layer lookup across 21 model families.

Knight Hacks
